About Me
My name is Sophia, however, I go by Sophie. I am a current senior at Pennsylvania State University. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted my job to involve animals. When I was six I wanted to be a dog sitter. At twelve I dreamed of being a veterinarian. Seven years later, I became interested in science and now want to be a wildlife biologist. The wildlife and fisheries major at Penn State was the perfect fit.
Next, some of my hobbies include art and photography. During high school, I took multiple art classes and have had the opportunity to work various mediums. I have worked with acrylic paints, chalk pastels, and many more. When I am not in a class environment, I enjoy doing digital art using the program Krita. While in high school, I combined my love for drawing and my love for animals to create a card game called Habitat Match. I hand drew the card game with Adobe Illustrator. Habitat Match was successfully funded on Kickstarter. More information on Habitat Match can be found here.
Acrylic painting: still life

Photos I have taken this past year (2020)
Growing up, I always enjoyed taking photos. I loved to take out my phone and capture the scenery or event. However, it was not until recently that I started taking this hobby more seriously. I finally put down my phone and picked up a DSLR camera with hopes of getting more professional images. I usually take photos of fauna or flora, but recently tried to vary my subjects.
